Lower Egypt

The river Nile flows from the south of Egypt down to the north where it meets the sea at the Mediterranean . As such the North of Egypt is referred to as Lower Egypt. It includes the Nile delta region and is much more fertile than it’s southern counterpart. It also includes a more moderate climate due to it’s proximity with the Med.
