October in Egypt

October in Egypt

Weather and Temperature

October in Egypt sees the end of the off peak season and tourists generally start flocking back from the middle of the month.

Excursions to the Western desert Oases start operating once more and hotels across the country up their prices to exploit the increase in demand.

Alexandria (23 - 30 ̊ C) becomes peaceful again as the Egyptian tourist multitude return to Cairo and the South. And Hurghada (23-30 ̊ C) and Sharm El Sheikh (26 - 34 ̊ C) see a recovery from the dearth in tourism experienced during the summer months.

Aswan is still pretty hot (23-39 ̊ C) and those sensitive to the heat will certainly prefer sightseeing later in the year.
